“The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.”

It is amazing to me how quickly time flies!  I know that I have been MIA, but I assure you, I am still here.

With all that life has brought lately, this Spring and Summer have seemed like a whirlwind that has just gone by in the blink of an eye.  Between allergies, activities, and home improvements I have had precious little down time, and that means so much less time to crochet.  It is unfortunate, but at the same time it is a blessing.  After the rush of the busy Winter season, I tend to get a little burnt out and lose the joy that crochet tends to bring me.  After this forced hiatus I have found the joy again, and that is a great thing to have!

Summer activities are winding down and kids are gearing up for back to school.  I am (not so) patiently awaiting a new niece and making some new items just for her, but I’ve also been working on some items from my own bucket list.  Baby blankets that I just adore.  Giant mandalas for front door decoration.  Novelty hats for birthday gifts.  I can’t wait to share all of this with you!

Now with Fall just around the corner, I am looking forward to warm hats and scarves, blankets to keep the new littles warm, and anything else that comes up.  That is also part of the fun of what I do.  There are always new things to create, and who knows what those might be!

For now, my wish list is pretty simple.
